In transportation, high-speed railways and road transport are significantly affected by meteorological conditions. In severe weather such as heavy rain, snowstorms, heavy fog, or strong winds, road surfaces become slippery, visibility drops sharply, and high-speed railway tracks may even freeze. All these pose threats to driving safety. Micro weather sensors can monitor meteorological parameters along traffic routes in real-time, providing timely and accurate data support for management departments to facilitate the formulation of preventive measures in advance.
The FT-WQX6 micro weather sensor to be introduced today has several core features. It adopts a highly integrated design, integrating six standard meteorological parameters: ambient temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, atmospheric pressure, and optical rainfall. This design solves the problems of cumbersome installation and complex maintenance of traditional multi-sensor combinations, saving human and material costs. In the complex terrain along high-speed railways, the high integration makes installation more convenient and can reduce interference to the operation of the lines.
In terms of wind measurement technology, the sensor detects wind speed and direction by emitting continuous frequency-modulated ultrasonic signals and measuring the relative phase. Compared with traditional equipment, it no longer relies on high-precision timers, avoiding measurement errors caused by startup delay and temperature changes. It can accurately capture the instantaneous changes of wind speed and direction, providing precise monitoring data for risks such as train shaking and vehicle deviation that may be caused by strong winds, and helping with early warning.
The FT-WQX6 has no moving parts, so there is no wear and tear, no on-site calibration is required, and it features maintenance-free performance. It has strong anti-interference ability, with a built-in watchdog circuit and automatic reset function, which can be used stably in complex environments such as large temperature differences between day and night, wind and rain erosion, etc.
The product is equipped with an RS485 communication interface as standard, and can also be optionally equipped with 232, USB, Ethernet interfaces and wireless transmission modules according to requirements. The minimum transmission interval is 1 minute, which can meet the needs of different scenarios. Whether it is a remote road monitoring point or a distributed system along high-speed railways, data can be transmitted to the management center in a timely manner to assist in rapid decision-making.
