1.Working principle of Handheld Digital Depth Sounder
Handheld Digital Depth Sounder is easy to use, just place it in the water, point and press a button for instant depth readings up to 150m.The speed of sound waves in the air is 340 meters per second and about 1500 meters per second in water.The sound waves travel around the water for 750 meters is exactly 1 second, which measures the round trip time of the sound waves.
The underwater target depth can be calculated.Ultrasound is a sound wave with a higher frequency than the human ear hearing and is suitable for underwater detection.
The depth sounder emits and receives ultrasonic waves through an ultrasonic transducer.Through recording, the underwater target is displayed on the LCD screen, and the bottom depth is calculated for display.
