Bridge icing sensor monitors ice and water on bridge deck surfaces, providing up-to-date icing alerts on icy bridges or viaducts.Bridge icing sensor uses microwave disturbance technology to monitor the icing information in the sensor-sensitive area based on the microwave disturbance signal's feedback signals of different substances such as ice, water, and air.The icing thickness is calculated based on the strength of the signal and the distribution information of the icing in the sensor-sensitive area.The icing alarm value can be set according to different icing thickness information to facilitate the start of the deicing system.
