Based on the HJ536-2009 standard for salicylic acid spectrophotometry, the online automatic ammonia nitrogen monitor is resistant to interference from water color and suspended solids. It offers high measurement accuracy, long maintenance cycles, and is suitable for long-term online monitoring of ammonia nitrogen in wastewater, drinking water, and surface water.

The online automatic ammonia nitrogen monitor is a commonly used analytical device in online water environment management. The instrument performs detection according to the HJ536-2009 standard for ammonia nitrogen in water quality using the salicylic acid spectrophotometric method. Nessler's detection method can also be customized according to user needs. It can stably monitor ammonia nitrogen levels in wastewater, drinking water, and surface water over long periods.

The online automatic ammonia nitrogen monitor places the water sample in an alkaline medium environment with a pH of 11.7. Ammonia and ammonium ions inside the sample react with hypochlorite ions released from sodium dichloroisocyanurate to form chloramine. Under constant temperature conditions of 40℃ and in the presence of sodium nitrosoferricyanide catalyst, chloramine reacts with salicylate to form a blue-green compound. A spectrophotometer measures the absorbance of the solution at a specified wavelength to calculate the actual concentration of ammonia nitrogen in the water sample. The equipment incorporates new photoelectric quantitative technology, which can reduce detection interference caused by high water color, high suspended solids, and numerous bubbles in the water, effectively improving measurement reliability and data accuracy, and exhibiting outstanding anti-interference performance.

The online automatic ammonia nitrogen monitor has a low detection limit, minimal long-term drift, an overall indication error ≤±3%, a repeatability error ≤±2%, and a detection limit as low as 0.01 mg/L. It also features one-button self-testing and self-diagnostic functions, facilitating quick troubleshooting by maintenance personnel. The measurement range is flexibly selectable at 0-2 mg/L, 0-10 mg/L, and 0-50 mg/L, and customized ranges are also supported. The waste liquid discharge per test is only 6 mL, and reagent consumption is low; 500 mL of reagent can support three months of normal use, reducing long-term operating consumable costs.

The ammonia nitrogen online automatic monitor has a single measurement cycle of 30 minutes, and the calibration time can be freely set. The maintenance cycle is greater than or equal to once every 720 hours, with monthly maintenance workload less than 2 hours. The entire unit is equipped with a 10.1-inch color LCD touchscreen for convenient operation and viewing. It is suitable for uninterrupted online monitoring of sewage discharge enterprises, water sources, river sections, and other locations, providing continuous and reliable monitoring data for water quality supervision.
