Equipped with a PVDF piezoelectric film sensing element, the piezoelectric rain gauge utilizes an embedded AI neural network to filter out dust and vibration interference. With no mechanical parts, it boasts stable performance and requires no maintenance, making it suitable for all-weather rainfall monitoring across various industries.
This high-precision, maintenance-free rain gauge calculates the weight of a single raindrop based on the impact measurement principle, converting it into real-time rainfall and intensity. The core sensing component uses a PVDF piezoelectric film, which, combined with an embedded AI neural network, identifies raindrop signals. This effectively isolates erroneous trigger signals from gravel, dust, equipment vibration, insects, and fallen leaves, avoiding various monitoring interferences from the field environment.
The piezoelectric rain gauge features a unibody design with no internal transmission mechanical parts and no exposed components in the sensing area. Invalid vibration signals from leaves, dust, and small insects are filtered out by the device. The equipment has a monitoring range of 0-4 mm/min, with a measurement error controlled within ±4%, a monitoring resolution of 0.01 mm, and a sampling cycle of less than one second. It can capture short-term rainfall changes, with rainfall duration monitoring accuracy down to the second. It can operate continuously 24/7, unaffected by weather conditions such as sunshine, cloudy skies, or strong winds.
The induction contact surface has an arc-shaped structure, allowing rainwater to quickly slide off without accumulation, eliminating the need for manual cleaning and maintenance. After installation, the equipment features automatic leveling, eliminating the need for on-site adjustments. Its compact size and easy disassembly and transport make it convenient. The stainless steel casing is corrosion-resistant, oxidation-resistant, and structurally strong, allowing for long-term placement in outdoor environments.
This piezoelectric rain gauge can serve rainfall monitoring tasks across multiple industries. It can be deployed at meteorological stations, hydrological and water conservancy monitoring projects, road traffic monitoring points, agricultural and forestry areas, and wind farms to collect rainfall data, intensity, and start and end times. Meanwhile, the equipment is compatible with automatic hydrological monitoring stations and field monitoring stations, providing reliable raw monitoring data for flood control scheduling, water supply management, and reservoir water level management during the flood season, and meeting the needs of unattended long-term monitoring.
